I saw a therapist last year through lifestance and she was not a good fit for me. I canceled all other appt and randomly today I get a text an email from lifestance that I have an appt with this counselor this Friday that I never set up. Lifestance has poor billing practices as previously my sessions should have been free via my EAP but instead I was billed despite multiple phone calls and now I’m being signed up for sessions I never signed up for. Shame on lifestance for preying on vulnerable populations!
