Dr. Flaherty is an excellent doctor. He’s very nice, has a great bedside manner, and he cares about his patients. Dr. Flaherty explains in detail the protocol that needs to be taken for any procedure you may need to have done. He always takes the time to listen to your concerns, never rushing you through your appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Flaherty to anyone looking for an oncologist.
Dr. Flaherty is a great doctor, he did my liver surgery to remove two Cancerous tumors from my liver in 2022 and kept my husband informed the whole time. He recently did my hernia surgery in November 2025. He has a good bedside manner and is informative which you don't find in many doctors. He has a wonderful staff, very friendly. The PA's are also amazing. I had a very good experience with Dr. Flaherty and his staff. I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Flaherty was engaging, caring and to the point. He was clear in identifying the problem and explained it well in layman's terms. He provided options for further evaluation and treatment and assisted in developing a plan. It was a very positive visit - pleasant, informative, and helpful. Dr. Flaherty has a wonderful manner, very reassuring and confident, and willing to listen to the patient's concerns and choices in the decision-making process. I would highly recommend Dr. Flaherty!
Dr. Flaherty’s medical knowledge and surgical skill are only exceeded by his kindness and genuine warmth and concern for his patients. He is a gem, and, if you are in the unfortunate situation that requires surgery to remedy it or ameliorate it, Dr. Flaherty is the surgeon you want.
I can't say enough about James Flaherty MD. He treated me about 9 months ago for my hiatal hernia. He was light hearted, professional, listened to all of my concerns and direct to the point regarding my procedure. I have not felt this good, stomach wise in years. He also just treated me for a sebaceous cyst that he quickly took care of with the same professialism that you would expect from him. I would highly recommend him for any general surgery you may have. Thanks you, Dr Flaherty.
