Everyone here is amazing. From the Office Manager,Jessica, to Dr. Guthrie herself, all of these girls have their stuff together! They really know their patients and what their patients want. I once had an emergency after hours with my toddler--Jessica and Dr. Guthrie were both on the phone with me throughout the day making sure I was getting what I needed and that everything worked out for us. Never have I had a dentist like this. Even my husband loves this place!
The entire staff at JRFD is welcoming and friendly! I was so nervous before going last year, as I have anxiety even thinking about going to the dentist. After my wonderful experience, I have now switched my 3 young daughters to the practice. Dr. Guthrie and everyone was great with them! I highly recommend this practice.

I love everything about this office. From the amazing Jessica who keeps me updated with earlier openings and reminders of appointments to Kristen who cleans my teeth to the AMAZINGLY AWESOME Dr. Guthrie who worked hard to fix my teeth. And even the cute office dog Marley. They treat you like family. It’s relaxed environment and you know they love what they do. �
JRFD is a great environment with great staff, who took the time to make me feel comfortable while providing quality dental care.
Office is great with my anxiety and always explain costs upfront. Staff is patient, and rooms are clean. Music is always great. Professional and courteous.
Like everything in life, its the people not the place. And the people at James River Dentistry are awesome! Every interaction is a friendly, positive one. They even make dental checkups with a toddler stress-free.
