His "bedside manner" could be better, but that's because he is so serious about the care of patients. Dr. Rupp is serious and thorough. Never dismisses a patients' concern about even minor complaints. I have been going to Dr. Rupp for about 12 years. At 68 years old I have had many primary care physicians and he is without question, the best I have ever had. Just remember, don't waste his time making small talk. He's not there to be your friend. He's there to be your doctor.
He was the worst provider I have ever seen. Very rude and nasty about why I was there. I was looking to establish with a provider and it most definitely won’t be him.
Dr. Rupp was extremely dismissive at our first and only appt. As I described my past medical history and changes in the last year he started shaking his head, putting his hands to his face like he was blocking it out, and generally treating me like an idiot. After describing frequently illnesses that became severe even with antibiotics and that I was there to check for underlying conditions he simply did a cursory physical exam and said I was perfectly healthy. I had to press for blood draws.
