Awesome pool filter I recommend this filter 100%, I installed it about a week ago and so far is being incredible,Very good material and it does its works as it should.
Excellent quality!!! Don’t waste your money on other brands. This is a very well made DE filter. I had already bought an Xtremepower 2 speed pool pump to replace an old Pentair and I am very happy with it so figured I’d try their filter. Everything was easy to install. The slide valve I bought is also excellent. The slide valve model is SP0410X502S 2" Slide Valve Assembly. It is the same model another reviewer recommended so thank you to that reviewer!
Great Filter!!! An earlier review mentioned the fittings are metric or something. The connections are not made for standard pvc fittings on purpose. The filter is a DE filter and requires a multi valve or a slide valve made for a DE filter. DE filters have the outlet on the top and inlet underneath which is the opposite of a sand filter. The multi valve SP0710XR50 or the slide valve SP0410X502S work perfectly with this filter. I have only had this filter ( 62 sq) for a two days and it is awesome. Jandy are the best We use Jandy equipment in all our swimming pool installations. We find them a higher quality than the competition so that means we don't get call backs.
Great deal Great filter. I didn't like the fact that the fitting size changed from the del to the dev model. This made me have to purchase a new backwash valve after I just rebuilt the one I had.
