Hayward makes great products! I’ve been using this model filter for 46 years. First one lasted 25 years the next 21 years hopefully this one will last just as long, works excellent!! Not cheap but works great and lasts!!
Super easy, soooo much better than sand! My favorite pool filter. Recommended from a guy, me, who spent three years in the pool service business in college. Longest D.E. life, so it’s very cost friendly. Just keep the pool water chemically balanced, bump the handle to rejuvinate the D.E., and that’s it. Easiest pool maintenance you could imagine. I’m in Florida with a screen room and a cleaner running.YMMV.

Great deal Great filter. I didn't like the fact that the fitting size changed from the del to the dev model. This made me have to purchase a new backwash valve after I just rebuilt the one I had.
