Defective The salt cell I received was missing a metal prong for the wire connection. There should have been three, instead there were two. Also, as another customer reported, the caps at end of the cell were screwed on extremely tight. So I returned the cell.
Not worth the money. If you are stuck with jandy, this is a good replacement. I would stay as far away as possible from this system. If you get two years without issue consider yourself lucky. Year 3 it was the sensor l, year 4 the circuit board and year 5 the entire cell. So about $800 for 5 years of operation, plus the cost of the initial system and salt.
