Dr Heckman performed the Whipple surgery on me. There is no need to go anywhere else to have this surgery done. He was so supportive and knowledgeable for me and my wife.
In November 2015 I had gallbladder surgery performed by Dr. Heckman. I found him to be very caring, he answered all my questions and and explained the procedure to me in detail. I liked him a lot, and would recommend him to my family and friends. I didn't understand the negative reviews as my husband was with me and agrees he's a good doctor.
did the whipple on my sister, after surgery I asked about the cancer on her liver he said it was nothing to worry about. she now has a few weeks left to liver because cancer took over her liver!
No people skills at all never on time for the appointment his staff is only trained in one task if that person is out for a day or two they tell you to wait until they are back in the office. No compassion what so ever. I would not recommend look for another doctor anyone would be better. He is full of him self that is a big turn off also.....!!!!
