I wish zero stars was an option. Although I don’t have a family member living there, I have been an employee for quite some time and y’all hit it head on 100% - the management, HR, & owners is why all these places are falling apart. I can’t even begin to count the amount of money withheld from me or how many times residents have told me they were overcharged. My parents have resided at Riverview Ridge in Rock Valley, IA for nearly 2 years. The building is beautiful and that is the only good thing about Riverview Ridge. The turnover in this facility is alarming. Their apartment had not been cleaned in over 2 weeks as housekeeping walked out. The nurse left after being made to work 22 hours straight. It has come to my attention that an elderly disabled woman was to move in to Garnett Place next week. She had given notice to her current living situation and had signed paperwork to move in. She was told a few days ago that corporate has made a decision to not accept residents that have Elderly Waiver assistance. This is ridiculous and may very well be Elder abuse, as she now may not have a place to live. Jaybird Corporate offices need to rethink this decision. I have councilor her to call her attorney. Shame on you!
