I had the best experience with Dr Swart and his staff when I had to take my Cat Snowflake in for a paw problem. I would highly recommend Jefferson Animal Hospital.
The BEST! 10/10 would recommend. While we liked our vet in Marion we’ll continue making the 45 minute trip here. Dr. Swart is fantastic, so is the whole staff. I will never be able to sing their praises enough! Thank you for helping our sweet Meadow and always taking such amazing care of her.
After adopting a kitten from the kokomo humane society/petsmart we found that she was not properly cared for while at petsmart waiting holiday adoption. We brought home a sick kitten, who also had a previous fracture. No one communicated with us about her being sick or injured. We take our bunnies here for their medical checkups. We have only ever had good experiences with the staff, who are knowledgeable, caring, and empathetic. On a personal note, as a local police officer, I am grateful for their assistance with an investigation/situation I was handling on and after Thanksgiving of this year. I had my first experience here yesterday and it was amazing. Everyone was so understanding and helpful with my anxious pup. Dr. Swart was very helpful with Oreo and everyone answered all my questions and gave me so much information even over my dogs whining and barking 😂 I 100% recommended them!

Doctor Rigsby was able to see my dog, a new patient, on short notice. As it was an emergency, my dog is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning (very promptly!) and the price is more than reasonable for seeing her on short notice and the procedure. Dr Rigsby also was incredibly tentative to my dog, and at a point my dog became uncomfortable with her and the tech allowed me to step in and hold her and listened to me when I suggested to let me hold her a different way. my dog was treated extremely well and I really can not say ... read more
