What I had done by Dr Perri was a minimally invasive atrial mass removal . It was done via a small incision between the ribs rather than a full sternotomy. Dr. Jennifer Perri is an incredible cardiac surgeon and I am privileged to have been treated by her and her team. I had a single artery, robotically assisted, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) surgical procedure. Dr. Perri is one of very few surgeons able to perform a robotic assisted surgery in my area (Connecticut). From our initial consult re: open heart surgery, thru the pre-op meeting, to the surgery itself and my recovery thereafter, she displayed a complete and thorough commitment to improving my health. She was readily accessible to address all of my concerns in a timely manner as well as answer my questions completely and understandibly. She is very knowledgeable, skilled, caring and compassionate. Words can’t explain how exceptional Dr. Perri is. She goes above and beyond for her patients. She is the most accessible physician we ever dealt with, she even gives you her cellphone number! She took such good care of my 81 year old father from our initial consultation, during surgery and throughout his 3 day hospital stay.
