I have loved this gym ever since it turned into Crunch. It is SO much better than Jersey Strong. The front desk is always staffed and super nice. The class schedule has improved drastically, and the level of difficulty has increased as well. I am currently working with Lulu as my personal trainer for one on one sessions and she is the real deal. She is knowledgeable and works you hard. I just walked in and spoke to Lorraine who is the new manager there. Absolutely lovely person and so helpful! A huge change from Jersey Strong (Which it previously was) where I felt like I was always talking to either a teenager that didn’t know what he was doing — or couldn’t get a hold of anyone at all. I’m excited to join back at the gym again! I can’t wait till they’re 6:30 PM HIIT classes— then it will be my perfect place 🙂

This gym has gotten so much better since it turned into a crunch. New machines, better music, friendlier staff. The machines turned from old and rusty to new, the ambiance with the new weights and set up improved and Jake and Dara have been helpful during the transition, especially as the memberships and getting inside were impossible.

I would give this a 5/5 as I am a peak member and personal train. I love my trainer Lulu. The reason for the 3/5 is because of their “policies”. I pay extra to be a peak member which means I can bring a guest, come “after hours”, and attend classes for free. I went tonight with my boyfriend and there was one employee behind the desk. We were told since it was after 8 (it was 8:30) that he wasn’t allowed to be there because it was “unmanned” hours…i’m sorry you’re an employee and your manning the desk?? I recently purchased a Peak Results membership, but had a really frustrating experience at Crunch South Marlboro. My friend came in at 6:05 p.m. on a Friday and I wanted to use a guest pass to work out with him, not realizing there’s a temporary rule that guests aren’t allowed after 6. The sign on the door still said Mon–Fri until 8 p.m., so it was confusing. When I asked about it, an employee named Jake started yelling at me and was extremely rude.
