Jersey Strong Marlboro was opened in July of 2013 in what was once an Acme grocery store at the corner of Route 79 and Ryan Road. It wasn’t a question of, if Jersey Strong was coming to Marlboro, it was where and when. Stephen Roma Jr. grew up in Marlboro and made it no secret of wanting to open a club there. Our family joined Jersey Strong a month ago & we’re so happy we did. John (Marlboro location) was so professional & helpful in explaining the membership that we bypassed the free trial & joined up. There was no pressure & he’s certainly an asset to Jersey Strong. He was knowledgeable and answered every question & we didn’t feel rushed. The worst gym ever all the sales reps besides one will tell you to cancel your account so you can join again so they get commission. Regarding the crunch switch it's horrible I go to multiple locations and I been getting turned away someone told me to wait for email on the first Feb to get into crunch app that dint happen. EDIT TO ADDRESS SHAMELESS OWNER COMMENT: If you were actually sorry you would be happy to refund me 4 months worth of membership fees and late fees, because that’s how long it took for people to finally cancel my account after I had originally asked. FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS GYM, GET A MEMBERSHIP ELSEWHERE, THERE ARE MANY CLOSE OPTIONS BESIDES THIS ONE. Management is impossible to contact and won’t let me cancel. Donna is one of the best instructors I have had for any fitness group class. Her Zumba classes are always so much fun and effective. The music and dance moves have just the right mix of dance and fitness, and the music is always great. Donna brings high energy, smiles and enthusiasm to every class no matter what day or time. They had a hoax saying people can add their family members on their plan but it turned out to be another overcharge, I have asked them to push back my annual membership fee (since I canceled it before and then reopened my membership). I followed up multiple times but still charged me, so they charged the annual fee two times a year without my consent, what a scam! They are Tricky people to work with, they never trustworthy.
