I am normally very self conscious at the gym. I started out at planet fitness and didn't have a great experience. When I went into Jersey strong for a tour the general manager, Kenny, was super nice and very knowledgeable about my medical conditions and what I could and could not do. He got me set up with membership and personal training the next day. He set me up with my trainer, Jenny, who's absolutely amazing! She is also very knowledgeable about what I can and cannot do. I’ve been going here for about 2 years now. I do love the fact that it’s so close to home and it’s 24hours. I would give this place 5 stars if it were cleaner. The machines are dusty and the bathroom is always dirty when I go. I deal with it because I do love the amount of free weights they have and the women’s only section is a plus. I’m used to this place but they could really use a better cleaning person. I signed up in Old Bridge a year ago and made sure I asked about there other locations as I was thinking of moving. They told me no problem they had locations all over. They have no closed several and only have a few left which is not by where I live so I called to cancel and they still charged me the cancellation fee. It is not MY problem they closed down locations in south jersey and they REFUSED to refund my $100. DO NOT JOIN JERSEY STRONG. Customer service is horrendous
I love this gym. I’ve been a member of several gyms over the years, this one is the most comfortable and enjoyable. This is due to my amazing Zumba instructor, Donna. She brings the best out of people. Donna is always encouraging and has helped me on my fitness journey. I am so happy to have met Donna because she made me fall in love with exercise and getting fit.
Have the nerve to call me repeatedly to join their club after applying for just a day pass but won’t bother to answer our calls for any questions i might have, what a joke! don’t bother signing up here
