This gym used to be great when it was Jersey Strong, but the Crunch team that has taken over has done a 0/10 job in terms of general turnover. Every member complains of a new issue... - 24 hour access has been an issue. Namely, AM gym goers cannot get into the gym during unstaffed hours. Just days after joining Jersey Strong, I received a notice about the change to Crunch. The staff member who sold me the membership must have known and I felt totally mislead. IThree months later and classes still aren’t posted in the app. I do not recommend this gym.
I am very disappointed in this gym and their service. Ever since they changed from Jersey Strong to Crunch, I have not had access to my crunch account online and cannot use any other crunch location. A few months ago, pre-change, I paid in full for my Jersey Strong membership, $447.69 for the entire year, just to now not be able to have access to my crunch account online AND I cannot access any other crunch gyms when I travel as they cannot find me in their system. Men’s bathroom is a disgrace. The urinals look and smell like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks if not months. Visible black mold growing, weights routinely not stripped off machines, about as bad as I’ve ever seen in my nearly 40 years of going to gyms, dumbbells and plates on the floor, treadmills in need of repair. Additionally, I can’t reset my password on the Crunch website, and Crunch homepage still does not have this location listed on their website.Absolutely inexcusable. Hey Crunch, fix this.
After selling to Crunch, we received an email not to worry about our membership, nothing is changing. Memberships for Crunch are priced at 26/mo for 24/7 access, yet we've been paying 45/mo. The transfer and over-charged rates at this gym for old members is a blatant scam. We had no ability to cancel our membership online since we could not sign up for a Crunch fitness account.
