I strongly advise against seeking services from JL Family Services. My experience with this organization has been nothing short of appalling. They advertise “affordable therapy,” but this is a complete lie. After initially charging me $30 per session—which I paid—they later back-charged me unjustly with additional fees and provided no clear explanation or transparency. Shannon Carr is in a class all by herself. Bar none. If you're serious about personal development and growth, she's a solid resource. She's as sharp as they come and I'm convinced that she has a special gift to work with me; I'm not sure that I can be convinced otherwise at this point. Ashley Pittman has been my therapist for about nine months, and I can honestly say she's been the best therapist I ever had. In my household, therapy was a weekly routine, so when I started meeting with Ashley I wasn't new to being in therapy. Ashley is an amazing therapist. She allows me to be honest without judgment. She also listens to me and let me get all my feelings out. I feel completely comfortable letting her in on the details in my life. Also, she always make sure we come up with solutions or ways to move forward when I present her with the issues in my life. I’m so glad we are able to do virtual therapy because I do not live in town but still meet with Ashley every week.
I have seen Diana for a while now and she is fantastic. She is a great listener and knows how to get to the root of any issue. She is nonjudgmental and when you talk with her you can be completely honest and really does make you feel like it is a safe space to tackle anything.
