Always loved this store and the friendly staff and all the coupons that come in the mail ❤️😊 , but Everytime i try to use a new gift card , it doesn't go through because the register doesn't just take the card , the cashier has to manually type in the amount of the gift card in , instead of the card just minusing from the total . JoAnns please fix your registers !!!
Not that it will so any good or help improve Joann, but part of the reason most of us inconsistently shop with the company is lack of communication between the customers and the employees/business. This closing liquidation has been a huge mess. Individual stores had a scheduled final day, yet no information was passed to the customers. I personally have put over 100 miles on my vehicle only to arrive at a store that is no longer open. Or if they are open, they are only open for fixture removal. Great shopping and customer service experience! This store is very organized and has a fantastic selection of papers and stickers for card/scrapbook crafts. They also have a large area for fabrics with quite a bit to choose from. Once at the register I thought I had my coupons, but I did not. Andrea told me to get them from their app and patiently waited for me to do so! It saved me 15% - at her suggestion. Highly recommend this store.
Poorly staffed! It's mid Saturday and there's only one cut counter rep with 20 people waiting. The rest of the store is quiet. Management should be on the counter or have someone come from another dept. The cut counter gal is also answering questions and helping people that approach. Poor lady probably gets overworked. I walk the store. No associates to be seen. When I try to find a manager, the not clocked in associate can't tell me who or where they even are. I went to JoAnns fabric store on a Tuesday afternoon to get fabric for a christening dress for a great-granddaughter. I picked out fabric and went to the cutting line and tried to take a number but the numbers were all gone. So the clerk, Sona, said “that’s OK you can just get in line behind the person last person who did have a number” Not totally trusting that I did take a number which was about 10 numbers away from the top because Sona was the only clerk handling many many customers.
