It has been great talking with Joanna. We have had some interesting things happen this year. My husband and I are buying our first house!! My daughter and her family have been living with us for 2 1/2 years and we have been through A LOT!!!! Our daughter and her family are moving at the end of the month. Life had been overwhelming for a while to the point that I realized I needed help to be able to face things. I looked for a therapist and that became a great decision in my life. Suddenly, I saw options, I felt empowered in many ways, it helped me finding solutions, and it still helps me facing different stages in my life. Now, I encourage others to look for help from a therapist when things become too difficult to face them alone. You are not alone, but it seems that you are. Thanks Joanna.
I appreciated that Lifestance was able to find me a counselor and schedule my first appointment within days, unlike a behavioral health center that scheduled me 2 1/2 months out and never returned calls. Joanna has been very helpful during a very stressful time of 24/7 caregiving. I appreciated that she was flexible and would do televisits since I could never predict when my husband would need emergency care.
When I first reached out to LifeStance, I was really trying to focus on my mental health. I am so grateful for my Counselor Joanna. I feel I have gained more tools to work through hard times, challenging times and to be more confident.
