Booked a 4:20 PM appointment for servicing m, showed up on time, and was told they couldn’t take my car because technicians leave at 5. This makes absolutely no sense—why give me that time slot if you can’t actually service the car? To make matters worse, no one bothered to call me to inform me or cancel the appointment ahead of time. I wasted my time and effort driving there for nothing. Very poor scheduling and complete lack of customer consideration.

I purchased a new vehicle from Joe Myers Mazda in 2024. The experience was acceptable but could have been better. The criticism I have is the service department. I scheduled service for 2 recalls and added an oil change. I used their website and requested a courtesy vehicle. This was done well in advance. Upon arrival I was told they did not have a courtesy vehicle but of course it would only take 1.5 hours ( not sure I believe that ). And so I guess I was supposed to sit and wait at the dealership. I recently purchased a set of four tires from Joe Myers and was charged $109 for a 4-wheel alignment. I later discovered that Jeff Haas Mazda offers a free 4-wheel alignment with the purchase of a set of four tires. This disparity in pricing left me feeling scammed, as I believe a similar offer should have been available. Additionally, during my oil change, I was charged $80.99, plus an unexpected $41.84 disposal fee. This fee is not something I’ve encountered at other dealerships. I am changing my previous 5 star review to 1 because I am extremely disappointed in my recent experience with the service department. My vehicle was one with defective valve stem seals which causes excessive oil consumption (the alleged “Valve Stem Seal Defect”). I took it in in April for the replacement of the stem. They made a mistake in the process. Had my car for about 30 days. They took my motor to the machine shop.
