Downtown location, Our server was great. We were a party of 3, ordered a few appies, taking our time before a show. Ordered dinner and drinks . Drinks were great. Our dinners came less than 6 minutes after ordering, the burgers were room temp and the fries were cold. Sent back the fries , ate the tepid burgers. They were good about it but obviously our meals were cooked before we ordered or they would have been hot upon arrival. Busy Saturday night. Normally love Joey! Not organized, very crowded. Services was just ok. Asked for share plate, had to ask again … over all place felt hectic and non relaxing at the same time the energy was not uplifting… they were trying and were pleasant… can’t put my finger on it, but won’t be going back!

The only thing I have to say is that the server was not happy to have us. She didn’t introduce herself when she arrived at the table. We weren’t ready to order when she came by the first time and seemed put off that we didn’t want to order food or drinks, but we hadn’t had enough time to look at the menu. She took her time to come back. She never smiled or appear welcoming. We had to ask for water (in addition to our drinks) and it seemed like an effort and was just set down in a rush like we were at a truck stop cafe.

When we arrived the restraunt was failry empty. I ave the hostes if we could possibly be seated at a booth. She denied my request because the booths were reserved for larger parties. I ordered my steak medium rare (pink no purple). My steak came very rare. I sent it back and by the time I received my steak back my wife was already finished with her meal. Honestly 5 servers came up to is 5 times with incorrect orders. It wasnt a good experience having to turn people awat 5 times!

The hostess was unfriendly and so was our waitress. The restaurant was freezing so we had to keep out coats on. Nobody mentioned happy hour. It was like we were a nuisance just being there. Our food was cold and took awhile. Not exactly a comfy place on a rainy day.

the pasta with lobster was only okay. for 56 bucks it should have been better the shrimps were old frozen shrimps pale in colour the pasta sauce could have been jarred. ?? the tofu lettuce wrap was good. you changed the recipe from when ypu first opened in calgary where i first experieced joeys the greeting champagne was a nice touch

Worst service ever. Finished our apples before our drinks arrived. Waitress had major attitude every time my son asked for a water refill. Won't be returning.
