Overall this was the most disappointing dining experience in the past 12 months. We even had to complain to the manager. Choose earls or cactus club instead :/
Service was slow and food wasn’t that great. Mediterranean bowl was horrible
I like this location normally but last night they must have had Covid staff issues. The bar tender was forced to do double duty and is a terrible waiter. Had to keep going to bar and asking for refills or food. Other tables also complained. Yet whole time some bloody was butterflying around distracting the people actually working and NOT helping. Its was my friends birthday as when i was booking the table i special mentioned that please it u can put candles on tue table with a decorated plate with happy birthday and a choco lava cake but there was nthing like that table was empty I really felt disappointed
Service was poor, steak was not cooked to desired doneness.
To start with we walked out as they had a terrible table in the bar , a booth with no distancing and people everywhere close by. The manager came outside as we were walking away and said he would give us a better table which he did and was great. However our server although she was wearing a mask it kept coming off her nose and she kept leaning in closer to talk right in our face. We eat at this Joey's almost weekly and never have a problem. Unfortunately this visit was not like that. One of the guests ordered the Salmon Bowl but before ordering he asked if the dish was at all spicy. The server said it was not spicy. The Salmon Bowl arrived and both the rice and fish was spicy. We requested plain white rice, which we got, and the guest tried to finish the salmon but it was still too spicy so he did not finish it. This is where things went sideways. The buffalo wings that I ordered did not come with the blue cheese dressing described on the menu; instead it was a mixture of an Asian infused dressing WITH the blue cheese. It was a terrible combination, not sure if this was an honest accident, but it had an awful taste. The presentation of the food was nice. Server was attentive and helpful.
