Overall food was great, but service during lunch is not a priority as much as getting people in and out
Server was extremely aloof, very slow and frankly seemed untrained. Didn’t seem to know how to use a tray or the iPad…would run two drinks at a time when many were in the pass. I arrived at 2:51 my cocktail didn’t hit the table until after 3:20. I watched it sit on the bar for over ten mins. Pop was flat. Explained to her. She took it away and didn’t bring a new one. Slight issue with my partners food but service and ambiance was great.
All the food was cold. Our server must have waited too long to pick it up from the chefs. I was also double charged on 3 meals (meaning they punched in 3 meals x2). No wonder it was empty on Easter Sunday. This would have never happened at Joey Don Mills or King St.
Great food - not a crumb left behind. Issues with hostessing. We were a walk-in of 4 and we were told there’s no room. We left and searched OpenTable for elsewhere. Much to our surprise, there were plenty of openings at Joeys?! Booked a table for 4 in 15min and returned to the same hostess. No explanation, she carried on like nothing happened. Why are they reluctant to accept walk ins? There were tons of empty tables too.

Secondly, I have been told by many people they were good at vegan gluten free (I need both). Server they recommended the tofu bowl. It was the saddest unseasoned plate of rice, tofu, and cucumbers I’ve ever seen. I wanted to put salt and pepper on it, but what looked like a pepper shaker was actually soy sauce… which made my meal not edible as soy sauce has gluten. They offered me another bowl ... read more
