Food was very salty. Not as good as I was hoping or remember it being.
I had a reservation for 6:15pm and arrived at 6:05pm to check in. My party was the only party in the crowd who was offered complimentary bubbly (which was a sign for me that things were not going to go well and they were saving face). We were given bubbly but never warned our table was running behind. Which negates the point of a reservation and was unbelievable considering JOEYs reached out to me earlier that day and confirmed there was a time limit on the table due to the Jays game. I've eaten at the Eaton Centre location many times before. Not sure why service was terrible on my last visit - Sunday early afternoon. Food took forever to arrive, food arrived cold and they messed up one out of the two orders, requiring an even longer wait.
The food came out cold and had to go back to kitchen ! Very disappointed ! The server was great it's not her fault it is the Kitchens! I will not be back here!
We did not get high top seating even though our reservation requested that and we confirmed it with them twice. Ended up missing like 2 innings of the jays game because they seated us in the dining room first and then on the patio. Also said they would comp our appetizers but then only comped one.
The service was SOOO bad! When we arrived I let the server know that we had Theater tickets so we weren’t rushing at the end. Took 30 minutes to get a drink order in. People who came after us were getting drinks before we could even order. We ordered appetizers and mains and the appetizers took so long that I asked three different people to please make sure our appetizers weren’t coming at the same time as our mains. The restaurant was noisy. Service was slow. The food did not meet expectations. Poor value for the investment. I will not return to this Joey's location.
Club house sandwich was soggy with too much sauce and sauce was spicy. Sauce made bun soggy and lettuce wilted. Sauce in club was dripping down my hand and it was messy. Fries had way too much salt on them. Too expensive for a crappy meal. Did not have time to get new order since we were going to play.
