Very slow service! My niece asked for ketchup for her burger and it never came. I ordered the spaghetti pomodoro - it was a sticky clump of overcooked pasta with some glue-like red sauce that looked like drying blood, with a dollop of ricotta cheese that was more like lame whipped cream! My meal came about 5 minutes before my niece’s burger. They were obviously sitting under the warmer for a long time as we were both told that our plates were very hot. We had a reservation for nine people but were initially seated at separate tables. Eventually, we were moved to a single table. The service was extremely slow—we arrived at 12:15 p.m. and didn’t leave until nearly 2:00 p.m., despite it being the lunch hour. Additionally, a couple of food items had to be sent back to the kitchen. I’ve visited this location many times and have never experienced such slow service before.

Despite reservations made a month before had to wait 10 minutes then gave our table to a person with same first name . Then when we pointed this out they had to put us at a high top because the hostess said they were fully booked! Frustrating but service good and food excellent. Very noisy.

We waited over 40 minutes for our drinks (non-alcoholic beer and a Diet Coke). After half an hour we were told that our order had been accidentally sent to the wrong table, and then poured out. Even after that we waited another 10 minutes for our drinks, which I thought at that point would have been treated as a priority, especially as we were seated right next to the bar. The bar seemed very disorganized.

I don’t typically complain about restaurants but we were very disappointed at Joeys Eaton Centre. I had the poke bowl and my wife had tofu bowl. They were both primarily rice, with small slivers and vegetables and little protein. The draft beers were 14oz cups but charged us $10 as if they were full pints. The food was also very expensive for what you get. Our lunch after tax and tip was $100 which we truthfully did not feel was justified. Would not recommend Joeys to anyone

Absolutely horrendous!!! I have frequented JOEY at different locations and have always had a pleasant time. My recent experience however at the JOEY Eaton Centre location was nothing short of appalling. Unbelievable service delays, incompetent staff and a manager who seriously needed her role to be revisited. And no, the restaurant was not crowded and neither were we rude or demanding. I think we were just “forgotten”! After being seated, no one checked in on us even though our table was bare…..this went on for 47 minutes…... read more

Service was terrible. They forgot our drinks. They deliver our dinner order and we literally had to flag down our server to ask her for our drinks, and to point out that they screwed up one of our food orders. The poor service continued until it was time to pay the bill and then of course, our server became very attentive. When they didn't receive the large tip they were hoping for, rather than saying thank you and telling us to have a good night, they abruptly turned and left the table.
