Every thing was great until the bathroom. Only 4 bathrooms for the whole restaurant. Probs would be better with a couple more
NEVER BOOK FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION. I booked this restaurant with a special note weeks ago that it’s to celebrate my daughter’s 18th bday. I called the day of to ensure that they could do something special for her bday and they acknowledged that they would. My daughter had one night to celebrate and have a special evening and we chose Joey’s , thinking that our existing corporate relationship gave us comfort that they would know how to make the night special. I would give a better rating but the service was so so bad. We had 6 different servers. Each one I had to remind them of order and getting drinks refilled. It was just terrible. And for that reason I won’t be back to that location.
Our server was horrible . Very slow and took forever to navigate thru her iPad putting in the order Food was good and ambience was lively Bartender was exceptional and very attentive !
I've usually had excellent experiences at JOEY Eaton Centre, but I don't know what happened last night. We were seated in a row where most tables were looked after one service person, while we had another. Our person would come by the tables in another row and never turn to us to see if we needed anything. We waited unreasonably long periods of time before we were asked for our orders. Service was non existent at the beginning, inattentive, food not prepared as requested and then took too long to bring back at temp, drink was awful and too liquid even though specifically requested not too much mix (tonic), eventually our server stopped serving us completely and other staff came around who were okay … this was a 1/5 experience and we would not return. Very disappointed by the service and quality.
Great food, exceptional presentation of each dish. Top marks for the culinary team. Fail for the bar team. Wine stems were sticky and unclean. Incident recovery was lacklustre.
Disappointed with the service level at this location - have enjoyed and have become used to much better service levels at other Joeys locations......welcome, time to be seated, accuracy of order, time to get drinks / cutlery......
The worst fish tacos I’ve ever had in a restaurant, filled with iceberg lettuce, and topped with radish slices?! Barely any fish inside two measly tacos priced at $22.50. Ridiculous $13 tiny, tiny kids portion of spaghetti (my child was still hungry after and we had to get takeout from elsewhere). Distracted service (by a not very friendly main server) kept forgetting to bring things we asked for, including my beverage.
