About this business

Like most of JOEY management, CEO Jeff Fuller started his remarkable journey flipping burgers, washing dishes and sweeping floors. It’s called paying your dues, learning from the ground up and understanding what success takes. “If there’s a secret,” he says, “it’s hard work, unwavering commitment to the customer and assembling the very best people.” Jeff absorbed valuable lessons from his family’s successful businesses before striking out on his own with a brand new concept in upscale casual restaurants. The first JOEY opene... read more

Our server sat us outside, there was about 20 empty tables. We got sat in a corner by the parking lot which was fine but not the nicest choice available, another group came in right after us and oddly was sat directly beside us despite there being multiple other tables available which would have provided reasonable space and privacy, but we had to listen to each others conversations as we were so close together. The food has gone extremely downhill at Joeys, the portions are smaller, the protein size specifically. Overpriced... read more

Joeys used to be our favourite place to go. Unfortunately the joeys today is very different. It felt like they were short staffed and unorganized. Our free champers for waiting at the door never happened till we asked for it 10 minutes after being seated. Our Diet Coke order only showed up at the table after an hour and the arrival of the food. When the food arrived it was very little value for the price. The mini steak French dips was more a bite than an appetizer (a joke really). And the horse radish spread on them was ove... read more

Can’t believe this dinner experience we had. Service was so bad. Servers can’t do their job the way other restaurants take care of patrons. Bartenders drinking while on shift, managers opening wine bottle for servers because they don’t know how, can’t bring simple water to the table, cutlery, napkins …had to ask for this every time. We were watching servers and managers standing around in large group while line up of people were waiting to get checked in. Don’t know who was the GM tonight but this restaurant run by staff tha... read more

Alexandra was our server. Very friendly. Great service. However the sushi was way below average at best. $20 ??? I could have eaten at Takis sushi for half the price and it would have been wayyyy better

Food Great service great. Noise level unacceptable! Way too loud. Hard to visit with clients or guests. If you want a wild night club atmosphere this is the place for you! If you want fine dining in a quiet setting this is definitely not for you! With the new Reno they have opened the bar area with no way to contain the noise from the bar and television area. So sad. Nice place but management has not figured out who they want to cater too! Perhaps it is the younger crowd. Definitely not for fine dining!

First time we have had a not so great experience at Joeys in Kelowna. The service was average at best. The food was below average, our rib eye steak was full of fat cap and gristle, our friends Cajun chicken had bones and gristle. The worst was the bartender didn’t know what he was doing, super inconsistent Old Fashioned’s one was good the next was so sweet. He couldn’t even pour a proper beer, came 3/4 full with 3 inches of foam, you don’t get to charge $11 for a beer that is only 3/4 full. When we complained the manager ca... read more

Never followed up with us on why we were dining there. Was wife’s birthday which she didn’t ask about until the bill came after we had ordered desserts. Never followed up during meal to ask how things were. Never got a drink refill until meal was done. Really disappointed with how much the bill was.
