Service was good, ambience was warm and inviting. We got the French dips, the ravioli bianco and the katsu chicken salad. The first two were delicious, the katsu chicken salad would’ve also been good but I took the rest of it to go and I discovered when I was already home that the center portion of the chicken was raw. Other than that, the overall experience was good.
They have removed some popular items off the menu such as the Cobb salad. We ordered the guacamole with roasted corn, and thought it was really good. The Szechuan chicken lettuce wraps would have been better in the leaf or butter lettuce. The happy hour burgers were not very good. Overall, I say that it has more of a roadhouse feel than be more upscale feeling it used to have. Very good service though maybe the Lansdowne has a better vibe than Rideau
The level of volume of the dining area, despite being on Black Friday evening, was not as noisy as a previous visit which made the experience much nicer. Love the ambiance of the place....definitely promotes conviviality. We were also greeted with some complimentary non-alcoholic sparkling drink which was a nice gesture. Nice touch with offering of non alcoholic drink when entering. Tasty and well presented humuus starter. Crispy tuna sushi spicy as explained. Satisfying chicken sandwich and very efficient service. Will return.
Food was delicious and our server Rebecca was amazing.
Great place! We have heard about this place for awhile now and finally we were back in Ottawa and decided to check it out! My wife and I were not disappointed. From the food and ambiance to our service. A special thanks to our waitress “Ace” ! Super friendly and a real pleasure. We dine out at least 3 times a week and we agreed “Ace” was excellent. Looking forward to returning.
This was our first time at this location and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was amazing and came out super fast given the number of people in the restaurant it was unbelievable! Great work!! Our server was amazing and super polite. We’ll definitely be back. Keep up the amazing work!

Ordered medium rare, steak was medium. Refills a bit late, but overall it was a good dinner
