Outstanding food but very small amount considering the price
Our server was so wonderful, However she kept trying to upsell my guest and I. I was on a business birthday meal with my boss, it was my treat, and the server kept talking about prices of upgrades to our meal. It made a bit or an awkward experience, when cost was a constant topic, but overall a good experience. I was also disappointed to know there was a charge for the birthday cake
First time trying Joey and it was very pleasant! Food and the ambiance lives up to the expectations. Everything from the decor to the lighting and the service was very suitable for a nice night out. The little touches like the drink we got to taste when we first arrived to the recommendations from the staff are much appreciated. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for an enjoyable experience for a date or simply a nice night out.

Very good diner. Good service and the food was excellent!
Such a good girls night! Just got appetizers off the happy hour menu, but an amazing experience none the less! Food was to die for the wraps were amazing and the fries were great! Our serve was quick and timely as well as the alcohol free bubbles were a perfect way to start our girls night! We’ll be back soon!

Staff was amazing! Good attentive service from our different servers throughout the night (we were there a while haha)
One thing the lighting is TOO dark slightly brighter would be so amazing!! Hope you will consider this both locations are too dark !! Rideau is slightly better due to outdoor lights on the street
We went to joeys for girls night, we ordered salads and a drink each and the total came out to be >50$ per person, the drinks were odd, they did not live up to our expectations, there are definitely better places in ottawa and byward for a girls night. Overall was a cute spot, but the food could be better
