If you are actively searching for an outstanding cardiologist in this area, I highly recommend seeing Dr. John I. Baron He is knowledgeable, and thorough. He really listens to any health concern you may have, and he diligently follows through until the area of concerned has been addressed and dealt with. I thank the Lord that I am one of his patients, because he treats everyone he cares for with dignity and respect.
Dr. Baron is an excellent doctor. I am fortunate to be able to see him . He immediately puts you at ease, and he is conscientious and takes his job very seriously. He has been a Godsend.
Dr Baron is very Pleasant, kind, & attentive to be around ... AND he even speaks to you as you're leaving if you come in contact with him in the hall & will even open the door for you... How great is that? Does not appear to be rushed. I felt like I was his only patient while in the exam room... such a great feeling to have a caring Dr ... There are still some great ones out there. The Lord has blessed us ...
Dr. Barron is very attentive, caring and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail. We couldn't have asked for a better doctor.
I was very pleased with my follow-up doctor’s visit on Aug. 18, 2020 with Dr. Baron at the Heart Health Center in Florence, AL. He was very thorough and clearly explained my test results and graciously gave me time to ask questions.
Staff cancelled post surgery and rescheduled 2 months later. Complications existed but could not get in touch with Doctor. Staff is inconsiderate and lacks skills to manage the office. Suggested we go to ER when the problem is medications.. TOTALLY unresponsive. MY heath is in danger with this doctor and his staff.
Poor follow up on referrals and a poor manager of his staff. Nurses assign appointment time 30 minutes before they are suppose to see you. Long office waits and he is overloaded by patients since they have moved and are down to two doctors at the Heart Center. Any surgery is done by Dr Heaton and not Baron. He is prone to diagnose AFIB and treat for that.
