John Hensley is a wonderful therapist. We have never found anyone in the past that can connect with my son the way that he has. All of the staff at life stands health are equally as wonderful too.
I don't typically leave reviews...but my experience was so negative I feel a need to share at least enough to help others make an informed decision about John Daniel Hensley. Mr. Hensley asked about 10-15 leading questions of a young child and made a diagnosis after only having known us for 30 minutes. I left in tears after his off hand dismissal of our concerns.
I've had a number of therapists in my day, but never before have I felt such an instant, meaningful, and true connection. He helped me uncover one trigger for my Bipolar 1 condition. Schools. I'm triggered by events surrounding school. I recommend John to any men, especially from places like my childhood home in far Eastern Kentucky.
John Hensley is a very good counselor.that helps me see both sides of each situations.and helps me to overcome my trauma and helps see the things I need to work on .and isn't judgemental.helps me feel better about myself and how to cope with my relationships with my daughters.
He is understanding and wants to help in any way possible. Thankyou
