Lifestance Health has been a Godsend for me, personally! My PsyMD, Dr. John McGraw has been my Lifeline! I’ve been seeing him since I suffered a TBI in October of 2021 & I couldn’t be more thankful. I’ve battled mental illness since age 20, I was dx’d bipolar1 in May of 1999 & Lifestance, from the front desk staff to Dr. McGraw’s Medical Sssistants (especially Kendra), have been great, as has Dr. McGraw. Dr. McGraw is the best. He is always there when I need him and he listens and actually helps. There's many places I've been that didn't help, but he does. I highly recommend him and his office. The staff is always friendly.
LifeStance is an absolute nightmare across the board! Dr. McGraw is the second Dr. I’ve had to walk away from at this awful place. He seemed nice when I had my first appointment. After that, I called in four times in a row, because I needed my meds refilled, and ran out. I stressed to this woman who I talked to that I was feeling sick and lethargic, and nauseous from not having my pills, and this man never bothered to call them in! I am so relieved to have found a doctor who listens and prioritizes my needs. I learned about Dr. Mcgraw through word of mouth, when reaching out for a good psychiatrist from a “mom” friends group. His name appeared a dozen times so I gave it a shot. He has a truly soothing presence and is available for virtual visits, which is also nice. Dr McGraw helped my relative and he’s not the problem. It’s Angie and the office manager that should be fired. All Angie cared about was reminding me that I would be charged 50 dollars if I canceled my appointment. She was so worried about the 50 dollars (if) I cancelled that she did not book my appointment. Their attitudes and greed are adding stress and anxiety to already fragile and stressed patients, which could be very dangerous for the patient.
