Dr. Holschen was very direct, concise and spoke to me like an adult and with dignity. I felt heard, and seen. She was extremely thorough and if I had the choice, I would want her to be a part of my permanent medical team. I remembered being helped by her years ago in the ER and her bedside manner had remained consistent.
She did not come to my room to see until the doctors that where waiting for my because I called with issues for my surgery the week before. She looked like she just woke up when she finally came to see me. She didn't even look at my Incession. The doctors from upstairs are the one whom requested for test to happen. I only seen her foe less them a minute. Also the rooms were dirty and house keeping never came to clean the room they put me in. I have attached the photos I took.
I came to Loyola after I had an accident and burned myself. I went to other ER’s for this injury and no one knew what to do! Loyola has a wonderful staff for helping with burns! I’m so happy I finally got the help I needed and thank goodness it was not too late! They were amazing treating my 2nd degree burns on my hands! (Failed attempt to pouring candles) They made me feel safe and filled me with hope that I will be ok! I highly recommend going to Loyola medical center!
Dr. Holschen was very kind and compassionate and took great and expeditious care of me. I felt very confident in her abilities
At the time I went, 10:30 am, there wasn’t many others. This was relieving. I understand there is a shortage of medical staff so my experience was as good as could be expected. The Dr seamed somewhat drained. Maybe because it was late into the shift.
