Joplin Floor Designs has truly been a family business for over 50 years. The business started as Hukill Furniture and Carpet in Seneca MO in 1962 by Denzil and Lillian Hukill. Denzil and Lillian ran the business until 1992, when their son, Duane Hukill, bought out the business and moved it to Joplin – renaming it Joplin Floor Designs. We used them to carpet my entire house last summer. We chose high quality carpeting and very high quality padding. the padding had vapor barrier on both sides. First they couldn't install it for almost a month, then when the workers arrived to install it, they were very late, one had gotten hurt and gone for stiches, but nobody called to tell me and i was waiting for half the day.
