He has been my doctor briefly. Before him, I was on multiple seizure meds from my previous neurologist. When Dr. Asconape removed those and prescribed me different ones, I haven't had an episode in months so far. AND even though my insurance isn't accepting Loyola, he still advises me and helps me out with prescribing drugs. I will have to pay more out of pocket, but it is worth it. He has been a treasure.
Dr. Asconape listened to our concerns, answered questions clearly, was patient & understanding with all his answers & explanations while setting our minds at ease regarding a potentially serious situation we're dealing with. He also confers with others who are the finest in their profession such as Dr. Anderson of Neurosurgery, which is important. Dr. Asconape has been wonderful. He found the seizure activity in my daughter's brain that other doctors were unable to find. He really listens to us and takes our concerns and suggestions seriously. After having bad experiences with other neurologists, seeing Dr Asconape has been a breath of fresh air for my daughter and me.
He was the one to find my problem in my brain after many many doctors couldn't find the solution. He took away my seizures after many years. I say he's the best Dr. there is. Hope he continues solving every ones problem like he solved mine. God bless him always.
He seems to be sleep walking, not sure if he was listening or not, no personality at all, strange guy somehow became a doctor... Very vague experience
