We have a good rapport and communicate/talk about what test or lab he wants to do with explanation of why. We talk about family, society, and our next vacation sites. I always feel like I'm being taken care of and my needs are met.
I had the pleasure of finding a fantastic new primary care provider (PCP) for my parents. This nurse practitioner has exceptional listening skills and thoroughly explores preventive care options. His professional demeanor, extensive knowledge, and impressive bedside manner have left a lasting impression.
I was referred to this nurse practitioner, waited until I confirmed my appointment then called me five minutes later to tell me he wasn’t available for an entire month later. When I asked why, said “personal reasons”. How unprofessional!!!
