This was my first time at J’s for an alteration. Brought in a sequined appliqué dress that needed to be shortened. The store is clean, the staff and seamstress were very friendly and made me feel welcomed and comfortable during the measurements process. The seamstress explained how she was going to hem the dress and the process so that the sequin pattern would still look good. The customer service was great. Also, I had been turned down by other cleaners to take in my sequin skirt, but J’s cleaners took it in and I was able to wear it for my friends wedding ☺️
Lovely people — helpful and gracious. Mr. Kim performed a miracle on a knitted repair. I highly recommend this excellent business.
J’s cleaners replaced my chaise lounge chair cushion zipper and sewed the rip in the cover, after the repair of the ripped section I couldn’t find where it was previously torn. Excellent job!
Not justified higher prices, slower turn around time, the worst is how their tactic of bait and switch or boldly lying. Peter, who works at the midtown location told me that it was easy to get the stain out. When fail to deliver (as if no wash has happened), he just totally denied it saying that he told me yay it was impossible to get the stain out.
