I've been a patient of Dr. Colvin for a decade, and I've never found anything negative in my dealings with her.
After several visits to other doctors for post-op urethral discomfort, she took a specimen, determined that I had and infection and prescribed an antibiotic which has cleared the infection. Both she and her nurse were professional, insightful and friendly.
Absolute worst doctor I have ever seen. Talks to you like you're an idiot. Doesn't care about her patients, you're just another paycheck. Doesn't listen to you, and makes it seem like you're crazy. Terrible. Wish I never wasted my time there. I'd give zero stars if I could.
We understand that the offices get busy. But when refilling a medication the staff and provider should not just be saying what needs to be heard and instead actually performing the work requested. After asking for a refill of an asthma medication told 48-72 hours before refill would be submitted. After 10 day's the refill has not been submitted to the pharmacy and the patient has exactly 2 doses left. This is ridiculous and poor patient care at it's absolute worst.
I corrected her for years that I take my medication for agoraphobia and anxiety but she continued to ask me if i felt sad or depressed when i went in for follow ups on it. nothing i went in for was ever fixed, she never tested me for anything to find the source of other problems and i always felt she was following a script or checklist. After realizing I hadn't had a physical in almost 5 years, just constant follow ups I refuse to go back to her even though she takes my new insurance.
