Some folks report difficulty getting appointments with Dr. Harmon and his Urological team. This might have come about because for a while they lost two key doctors who retired or relocated.
I am not one to post my opinion or experiences on social media but this is one of those times where I know this information can help someone. Dr. Justin Harmon has been my Urologists for years, the nicest man you would ever want to meet. My visits were all routine until November of 2020 when he saw abnormalities in my PSA numbers. Excellent! My husband had an issue with pain & inability to urinate after a surgical procedure this week. Our Dr called to get us in as an emergency & they saw us within an hour of the call. It saved us having to go to the ER for treatment. Great team efficient & caring. Dr. Harmon saw him, listened to his complaints & promptly diagnosed the issue. Samantha preformed an ultra sound & installed a Catheter which drained 1000 CC’s of fluid after which he felt immediate relief.
I am an internist diagnosed with Renal Cell Ca 6 years ago and picked Dr. Harmon because of his experience and reputation. Radical Nephrectomy was done via laporoscope and I was home the next day!! I was back to work in one week. Over the last 6 years, I have referred many of my patients to him and all of them have had a great experience with Dr. Harmon. He's a great Doc. and a great guy.
I have frequent problems with kidney stones. Dr. Harmon has been excellent in dealing with my situation in both a proficient and caring manner. He takes time to explain what my treatment will be based on what is happening in my body at the time of treatment. He involves me in his decisions and I feel comfortable in his care. Kidney stones are a family curse and I have referred both of my sons to him and they are, also, satisfied with their care.
He was very responsive to my situation and promptly sent me to the ER. After explaining my condition to me, he proceded to call my wife and talk to her. We need more caring doctors like Dr. Harmon!
Total jerk. Almost killed me. Incompetent Insensitive Failed to do his job Ended up in different hospital ER for 6 days. Lost 14 lbs in those 6 days, which made me extra weak & caused 1 month delay in my recovery from surgery
He is a fine guy and pretty nice, BUT I have seen him four times and do not feel like I am making significant progress. The second time I went in, I paid and they asked me to pee in a machine to test urine flow. After and hour of total time at the office, he comes in for one minute and says there wasn't enough urine to test, but you're probably fine. They've cancelled on me last second twice now and it's time to move on to a new doctor!
