We’ve been working with Gracie from K9 Companions to train our puppy as an autism service dog, and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better trainer. From the very beginning, Gracie has shown incredible knowledge, patience, and a deep understanding of both service dog work and the specific needs of individuals with autism. She has helped guide us through each step of the training process, always taking the time to explain techniques clearly and tailoring her approach to our puppy’s unique temperament and learning style. What I a... read more

Everyone is just amazing! Our daughter is autistic and we are starting the process with her puppy to become her service dog. This whole process was so new to us, but they have been so patient and worked with us, answering all our questions and addressing any concerns. We have finished Level 1 and are about to start Level 2, and he is doing wonderful. He remembers all of what they taught him. Even on the days where he is going through a typical puppy/teenager phase and tries to push buttons, he remembers what he has lear... read more

We have had such a great experience with K-9 Companions. Our out of control Boston Terrier is now a well mannered young teen. Emily has done such a great job with her. The additional instructions for our at home training are the most valuable. They do not leave you alone to fend for yourself after boot camp. You are given such a wonderful opportunity to learn how to implement all the instruction within the home and to fine tune any mistakes or trouble spots between you and your dog. I would also like to say bootcamp was a ... read more

K-9 Companions Nashville has been such a blessing in Ellie’s training journey. Their team not only brings professionalism and expertise, but they also genuinely care about their work and the impact it has on people’s lives. Ellie has learned vital service tasks like retrieving items, opening and closing doors, and even pushing automatic door buttons. Watching her grow through their guidance has been incredible. They’ve taken the time to ensure she’s equipped for her role, and their attention to detail is unmatched. If you’re... read more

Owner Karen and her staff are incredible. We had our shelter husky trained here and are so glad we did. Habits we identified (door crashing, leash training, overall response to commands) were corrected and it was like we had a totally different dog. Know that there are expectations of owner follow-up once boot camp training is completed. This is an investment in your pet and as long as pet owners know this going in, you will be very satisfied with the results.
