In the Lanai food court at Ala Moana is Kamakura Ramen. This is equivalent to a mid level ramen shop in Japan. The ramen is better than cup o noodle. If you can not make a good ramen at home then try this place. If you can doctor up a ramen at home then stop here and eat at home. You can then send me the money you saved. A solid ramenya inside the Lanai at the mall. This spot offers a variety of ramen options. Prices are a bit on the higher side but the bowls come in larger portions. I went with the half size spicy tan tan ramen with char siu which was perfect since I wasn’t too hungry. Otherwise the regular size would have been the way to go. Ramen was absolutely incredible – one of the best I’ve ever had! I could really feel the authentic Japanese taste in every bite. Highly recommend!

We asked a Japanese friend and she recommended this one. It was great we enjoyed it. Perhaps the best ramen in Oahu we tried.

One of my new favorites as a local! Reasonably priced, finally some place I can enjoy some ramen for under $14. The food has nice portions as well as kamaina and happy hour specials. Definitely will be back!
