Made an appointment on Friday. Was told to fill out portal information and after registering was unable to log on due to an error saying my account needed to be confirmed and to contact the office. Contacted the office day prior and day of, and day of the provider canceled the appointment 6 hours out. I called to figure it out and was met with Erica at the front desk who blamed.me for not filling out paperwork I had no access to. Requested to speak with the provider as Erica repeatedly blamed me.

I rarely do this, but I made an appointment 3 days ago. My appointment was canceled with no call and way less than 24 hours before my appointment. Obviously as a psych patient, I need help and my meds. To cancel with no call? I myself called and was told it was because they did not take my insurance. 1: I should not have been able to make the appointment if you don't take my insurance. 2. I should have been given the option to be a self pay patient. 3. I deserve the common curacy of a phone call.

I feel like the provider could've handled the situation a lot better. I really didn't get to talk very much until the end when she asked if I had any questions. But it was really hard to ask questions when I felt I was lectured for my first appointment. I have really bad anxiety and it's really hard to ask a practitioner questions when they barely let you get a word in.
