I have been seeing Dr. Spangenberg for about 4 years. She is really a nice, caring doctor. If anyone has a little bit of a wait time it is only because she is a very popular doctor. Once in the room she will answer any questions you present her. I have never had a problem with her I moved to downtown Chicago 3 years ago and I still drive all the way down there to see her that is how much I trust/like this doctor. even when I didn't have insurance she always discounted my visits to make it affordable to me. you may have to wait in the office for quite a while for her, but when it is your turn for your check up she makes you feel like you are the only one and her attention is focused on you. and she doesn't look at her watch to make you feel rushed. she is very thourough.
While Dr. Spangenberg's waiting time is high, it is because she does not let a patient leave the room without feeling that they have had her attention, which is rare with doctors these days. I went in for a physical with concerns and she followed up and addressed every one. I will continue to use Dr. Spangenberg as my PCP.
Friendly person, dresses very casual, not like a regular Dr. However, a lot of visits she always left room and made phone calls to other Doctors, as if she couldn't decide on her own, anyone else see this. Maybe cant make her own decisions, should just go to those Dr's, they seem to be the ones treating you. Unsure of her confidence or decision making, gets me wondering, we are looking else where.
Seems like a nice Dr. But when push came to should she said one thing and did another. Then all on her own decided to spread rumor about me to other Dr's and now cannot get medical care I need. Do not recommend her
