I've lived here for 2 yrs now, and it's a really good place to live. There's some things that need to be fixed or updated, but it's out of the control of the property manager. The old and new managers have both helped me since I moved in. The new manager is trying to improve the apartments as best as she can. It's nice and has more room than one would think. The laundry room also has an app, so I don't have to pack quarters around anymore 🥰 I really love living here despite not always getting along with neighbors, lol

Lived there for many years. The place is falling apart, nothing gets fixed. You’re not allowed to go on your patio if you’re on the top floor cause they’re dry rotted. Apartments smell like old smoke. The new manager Misty does not do her job well at all. She only tells you what you wanna hear. Was caught in so many lies. She tells tenants business to other tenants living there which is very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I currently live here & I think they are great apartments for the price. The office manager is very helpful and is available to help with any situation. There are little inconveniences like complaining neighbors & no washer/dryer hookups but overall is a great place to live.

I have to agree with John Doe. The apartment was not cleaned AT ALL when we moved in, they do have a roach issue here (YUCK!!). There is a "smokey" smell that seems to be stuck in the walls...I believe I know why, when the guy "cleans"/paints (I personally witnessed this) he is smoking in the apartments while doing these jobs. Ken Oak Apartments are horrible!! When we first moved in the manager "Cathy" lied to us about our apartment being cleaned and when we went to move in a few days later there were roaches in the cabinets and everything was in need of a scrub. To make matters worse the utilities are extremely high because the windows/doors are very old and inefficient while the walls are not well insulated.
