Dr. Elwood is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. She has taken excellent care of our son; advocating for him when he was hospitalized, answer all of our questions and providing information and suggestions regarding his overall health and well-being. I would recommend Dr. Elwood to any parent searching for a provider.

I voiced my concerns to her for months & she told me that nothing was wrong with my child except she was 'overweight' & had sleep apnea! We started seeing an ENT to have her tonsils removed to clear her airway, so they perform the pre-surgery lab works & prepare for surgery the next day! I wake up the next day & Elwood has sent the DHS to my home stating I was being medically neglectful to my child because the pre-surgery labs stated that my child had a severe medical condition that Elwood brushed off & never tested for! Son was in and out the hospital due to weight decline. Dr Elwood changed his milk three different times. He still was vomiting a lot. Also lost weight in the hospital. Dr Elwood did a lot of test on him and everything came back normal. He just had acid reflex. The only answer she was able to give me is she didn’t know what was wrong. Before the Covid-19 hit my friend told her to transfer him to Iowa city where the experts were.
