The doctor is fantastic. The dark haired receptionist is rude. I had an appointment at 8:15 and was told to arrive 15 minutes early. The schedule says they open at 8. I get there at 8, but the door is locked. No problem figure they just haven’t unlocked it yet because I was there at exactly 8. I see the receptionist walking towards the door looking like she was annoyed she had to open the door. I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Kristy Rutherford since we moved to Knoxville 2 years ago and she has been heaven sent for us! I can’t believe my baby actually gets excited to go to the doctor now. She is the sweetest and kindest woman and I can’t imagine any other doctor taking care of my sweet baby. Miss Kristi and the nursing staff are incredible but getting back to see them is a nightmare. They say they offer same day walk in visits for shots that end up taking 2 hours to be seen. Your healthy child will wait in the waiting room with all the sick children for nearly an hour past your appointment time before going back to their room. On scheduled appointments it's not any better. I've gotten here 15 minutes early, on time, 15 minutes and even 30 minutes late and it makes no difference, it'll be an hour wait to get to ... read more
This is one of the best pediatric offices I have been to. My son has had a consistent problem and many doctors later, Kristi has been the first one to provide ample information and you can truly tell she cares. The nurse was great too but didn’t catch her name. All of the walls are so cute and fun for the kids. So happy to have my baby as a patient here!
Wonderful caring pediatrician and nurses!! My girls are a handful sometimes and they are always so patient and nice.
