Make reservations. We did and got seated right away. Lots of people waiting on a Sunday evening. Service is good and fast. Everything was very good. We didn’t try the skewers. The raw appetizers were all very good and fresh. Black cod was melt in your mouth good. The extra noodles is a large portion and free if you still have soup. Everything adds ups really quick. All this food for 4 and a beer and sake was just under $200. We were very full.

This place only accepts cashless payment, which is super awesome bc handling money is quite filthy. Restaurant was super clean and modern, unlike your typical Viet restaurants: food wad okay, the ramen i got was super salty. My friend couldn’t finish hers so I asked for an order of broth to go so she can dilute it at home and it was 6$!!! That is ridiculous considering a full portion was 13$. The fries was perfection and their tea was tasty:

It’s a fusion izakaya restaurant with decent Japanese styled dishes with a bit different twist. The spicy fried udon was very good and different. Sashimi platter is underwhelming and sushi selection is weak. Please order the fried or cooked dishes instead. Yakitori skewers are decent but they are missing chicken wings but pork belly was excellent. It’s a nice place to spend an evening with friends and family.

Decently priced flavorful food. I loved how the waiter suggested an upgraded item to which I was very grateful. I did not realize their menu was time restricted so plan accordingly. I was only in town for a bit and wished I could have tried their dinner menu.

The team behind Kin has done it again. Kin Izakaya specializes in yakitori, ramen, and other japanese tapas. We tried the uni with wagyu beef tartare, karaage, tonkotsu ramen, an assortment of yakitori, and uni pasta, and everything were good except for the uni pasta. The pasta sauce was a light mentai sauce with some spice to it, but there is no uni flavor in the sauce at all. The uni is simply placed on top, which seems like such a missed opportunity to infuse the whole dish with the umami uni flavor. Other than the ... read more
