My sister and her husband bought into this Ponzi scheme a little over a year ago. That buy in was a total lie, they are in major financial trouble. Then to make matters worse…my sister’s husband was a patient in their memory care facility ( same site). He had multiple falls. He was a DNR, but they kept sending him to the hospital re dehydration, instead of contacting the hospice group to attending to him. I had a previous rehabilitation here and returned a second time as the first stay was a positive experience. Staff was patient kind considerate and had a genuine concern for my needs through recovery. I feel much safer returning home and while I hope not to need another stay I would return again if needed. I gave a short list of minor things they can improve upon but my overwhelming impression was that staff members had a vested interest in my care often acting as if I was their only patient. My sister was a resident of Kingswood, the care she received was done with passion and love. Never in my life have I been in a nursing facility that was so clean and every staff person was wonderful. I would never hesitate to suggest. Sending a loved one here they are the best.

My wife & I moved to Kingswood just over 5 years ago into independent living in a villa, which is one of their living options. However, we chose it because it offers life care at every stage. Independent, as well as assisted, memory care and health care. This will be our place until we die, with no more late-in-life moves. What has impressed us most, is the quality of life and relationships we have experienced while living here. When it became clear that my uncle was not safe living by himself we investigated several senior communities in the KC area. He was reluctant to abandon his home, but we were impressed with Kingswood and convinced him to give it a try. It has been a wonderful choice. He began in assisted living, but it eventually became clear that he needed to be in memory care. We were so happy that we chose a facility with multiple levels of care on the same campus.
