Loved when this place was Hillsboro. I’ve had nothing but problems since the owners changed. Nobody on site to help with issues. I received notice that my unit wasn’t secure and I had 24 hours to secure it, yet it clearly was secure in the photo they sent. Unit appears to have been broken in at some point, the sliding lock was bent and didn’t move to the lock position. This will be our third time using Hilltop Self Storage, we have always been very happy with how clean the area is and how nice and friendly the staff is. Even though I have used them in the past I did do some price checking before using them again, thankfully they were less expensive than the other units in my area because I really wanted to use this company again. After searching all over the Gettysburg area for a climate control unit we ended up at Hilltop storage. This was a wonderful place. We were very professionaly assisted by Doreen. She went above and beyond to meet our needs. She assisted us with all of the paperwork and explained everything and great detail to us. We were happy and pleased with our service.
Rented my unit online with ease. Went in and they had a lock available in my unit if I needed to buy one (I did, thank goodness). We stored our stuff here for 3 years and never had a mouse or any other pest other than the occasional dust spider. The area is kept very clean and very secure. Highly recommend to anyone needing to store items.
Call centers from India do not respond to you. They just took over from Hillside storage. I paid for the month of October 2025. They decided to magically change the contract saying that they needed a month payment ahead when I provided them with the receipts proving that I had paid for October. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE.
