Extremely poor service from quick fit fishponds. I got there on Sunday morning with an emergency - I got hit by a van the previous day and lost the wing side mirror. I managed to buy the parts online and I needed a fitting from them as it’s illegal to drive otherwise. They told me they were fully booked and I asked them that I appreciated that but it would have most likely been a 5 min job. They said they could not do it. I booked an MOT and service online a month in advance, only to receive a phone call at 30 minutes before closing on the Sunday before my appointment (8:30am the following Monday) informing me that they aren’t actually a service centre and couldn’t carry out the work on my van. This is something they could have told me weeks before, which would have allowed me to arrange my MOT and service elsewhere without any last-minute hassle.
I booked a 9:30 AM vehicle safety check online, under the impression the work would begin at that time. However, upon arrival, I was told they were busy and it would take 1 to 1.5 hours. This seems to defeat the purpose of booking a slot; they might as well operate on a first-come, first-served basis. An hour later, they called to say they couldn't open my bonnet to replace the front bulb and could only change the brake lights. They also couldn't replace the rear wiper as they lacked the part. Wheel balancing didn’t done I think because my steering of car is vibrating similarly as it was before I have paid £232 for two front tyres including wheel balancing but it’s not done please
Had a issue with a screw in one of my tyres. Walked in and it was sorted out. Waited about but happy with Kwik fit team. Thank you 😊
