States on the sign no booking required however the first question they ask is have you got an appointment? If you haven't your sent away as they are fully booked with 1 car in the garage….. Don't appear to be very helpful with contract vehicles. If your told ill be back with you in a minute expect a minimum of 20 minutes while they have a vape and a chat
My car was making a noise which I suspected was in connection with my brakes. I took the car into my local Kwik Fit and they rang me within a few hours, having diagnosed the problem, and gave me a price to do the work and proceeded to repair my car on the same day within a few hours; which consisted of new brake pads and discs. Owen was wonderful, polite, knowledgeable and gave me an inspection report. Had to get my tyre sorted on a Sunday and was so worried. Went to another garage who had no premium tyres in so decided to go to Kwik Fit, wish I had gone here first. They sorted me out within 30 mins and the price was very reasonable. Excellent service and would highly recommend.
Scammy people, beware. You’re better off finding a trustworthy local garage. I brought my car in for an inspection check that was meant to take 30 minutes to an hour [as stated on their website], but they were done in 15 minutes. They told me one of my tyres had a nail in it and immediately offered to replace it for £79. Thank God I hesitated and looked elsewhere. Had a blow out while on my way to Hull hospital, after my appointment I drove to Kwik fit, the lads in there were great, my colleague had to be back in Leeds for his daughters prom, and they made this happen. Wish other Kwik Fit guys were this good.
