This was my first time ever going to La La land as we don’t have any where I’m from. I knew when I came to visit Dallas this was the first place I’d be hitting and ended up going all 3 mornings I was here. As soon as we walked in and felt overwhelmed by all the great options, Jocelyn immediately came to the rescue and walked us through and made us feel super welcomed and talked with us the whole time and gave us a cute red bag to help us remember our visit. I had a great time eating the delicious food at this location. The friendly manager, Liz, took my order and suggested I try the pistachio croissant with dubi chocolate. It was fantastic! I highly recommend it. The atmosphere of Lala Land at this location was clean and inviting. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte with oat milk, which was divine and came out in a decent time.
Food and drinks here are so good but honestly the service kills the whole experience. It’s not that all the workers are rude or anything but every time I come here they mess up my order or I see someone at the counter asking if they can fix their drink. I wouldn’t comment if this was a once or twice thing but every time I come. I’ll still come back but wanted to bring this to the staffs attention. Need to fix this. The cafe is tiny, but has a very bright, and clean lined aesthetics. There is a main seating area with an oversized; coffee table surrounded by two large deep sofas and 4 arm chairs. There was also a bar area that sat about 3 that was perfect for working on your laptop! They have outdoor seating, but it was a cold day, so they didn't have that quite set up yet.
