Location: Tacoma Dome events, Tacoma Mall, Point Defiance zoo and park. lots of wonderful restaurants and the waterfront is lovely.
We asked for a handicapped accessible room and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was really good and room was clean, quiet, and parking was easy. would recommend this hotel to those in Tacoma traveling through. we will stay there again to see family in the area.

If you absolutely require a non-smoking room, be aware that they might put you in a room that, when I came back downstairs to complain, the desk clerk told me was "sometimes non-smoking." (Which means it smelled like a smoking room.) I was told this was because I reserved through Expedia instead of directly through La Quinta. TV was missing the remote and the plug in that the alarm clock was plugged into had been pushed back into the wall so the wires were just hanging out there. Other than that just like every other hotel room for the same money.

The lobby & the outside were great, the room itself,not so much, it wasn't very clean, the toilet looked like it had not been cleaned, there was hair on the vanity..just didn't have that "fresh" look.
The staff was great as was out continental breakfast, however, we probably would not stay there again if we make it back to the Tacoma Dome..

Ive stayed here many times. Ill never stay anywhere else when im in tacoma. I sleep like a rock the staff in very friendly and the restaurant and lounge have great food.
